Dawn Montesano is a Licensed Practical Nurse, graduating in 1992 from Northern Westchester BOCES. Before and during her employment with Dr. Liegner, she worked in maternal health OB/GYN. Her association with Dr. Liegner began in 1994, after her then 13 year old son became ill with Lyme disease. 

She is a member of the Nurses Service Organization and Infusion Nursing Society, receiving certificates in venous catheter care and venipuncture.

Dawn also manages the office and is responsible for all aspects of front office administrative operations. 

She is acknowledged in the peer-reviewed publication Disulfiram (Tetraethylthiuram Disulfide) in the Treatment of Lyme Disease and Babesiosis: Report of Experience in Three Cases (Liegner, K., Antibiotics, 2019) and is a co- author of "Repurposing" Disulfiram in the Treatment of Lyme Disease and Babesiosis: Retrospective Review of First 3 Years' Experience in One Medical Practice (Gao, J. et al, Antibiotics, 2020) 

Dawn seeks to develop close relationships with patients, recognizing that nursing care as well as emotional support and guidance to a very sick population of patients is essential.
